Srinagar: In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, police on Thursday booked the management of a homestay in Humhama, Srinagar, for allegedly accommodating a foreign tourist.
According to Kashmir Media Service, a team from Humhama police station raided Rose Cottage homestay, located at Friends Enclave, and found a foreign national staying there.
A case has been registered at Budgam Police Station, and investigations are underway.

Police have directed all hotels, guest houses, homestays, and individuals hosting foreign nationals to strictly adhere to the administration’s policy.
Observers say such measures are part of a deliberate strategy by the Modi-led Indian occupation regime to economically weaken Kashmiris, intimidate business owners, and discourage foreign visitors. Rights defenders warn that these actions aim to control the flow of information from the territory, keeping the world unaware of ongoing human rights violations and the situation on the ground in IIOJK.
